Do we support MariaDB databases?
Yes we support MariaDB databases on our linux Cpanel hosting accounts.

Where do I create a MariaDB database?
You can create a MariaDB database by logging into your Cpanel account and going to Databases > MySQL Databases.

Once you have created the database, you can now create a database user and link the database user to that database.

How do I manage my MariaDB database?
Log into Cpanel and go to Databases > PHPMyAdmin to manage your MariaDB database.

What is the difference between a MySQL and MariaDB database?
MySQL is an open-source relational database management system. MySQL uses tables, constraints, triggers, roles, stored procedures and views as the core components that you work with. MariaDB is a fork of MySQL, which means the database structure and indexes of MariaDB are the same as MySQL.
