Security: How to add CAPTHA protection to your website form

 

This article provides you with information on how to generate a Google API key required by reCAPTCHA.

 

 

 

To use Google reCAPTCHA v2 (or Invisible reCAPTCHA v3) on your website, you must register your domain with the reCAPTCHA API and get the Site Key & Secret Key. 

The API key pair is unique to each domain and first-level subdomains that you specify. These are free to get if you already have an account with Google. Click here to get your own reCAPTCHA API keys

 

 

 

Step 1 – Register your website.

  • Choose a name / label
  • Choose reCAPTCHA type
  • Enter website URL / Domain name

 

 

 

Step 2  Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Submit

 


 

Step 3 – Copy the keys by clicking on their respective buttons

  • Two pieces of information is provided
  • Site Key and Secret Key
