Horde is one of cPanel’s Webmail applications where customers are able to log in and manage their email addresses.
It was recently discovered that an unpatched bug in Horde allows hackers to take over the webmail accounts. This means that there will be unauthorized access to personal information saved in these mailboxes and no one will know about it until it is too late.
To safeguard all of our customers, we’ve decided to disable the Horde webmail application entirely and request that everyone switch to Roundcube for the time being until the vendor releases a patch.
